Intraregional Security Cooperation: What the Baltics can offer for a Stronger Alliance

The Baltic Security Strategy Project will host a panel discussion on Baltic security cooperation during the Riga Conference 2018. The discussion takes place on 28th September at the National Library of Latvia Conference Center (Level -1) at 6:15 PM. 

The discussion will cover the assessment and recommendations for Baltic military, societal and economic security, as studied within the Baltic Security Strategy Project and beyond. The speakers include Lt. Gen (Ret.) Frederick Benjamin Hodges (Pershing Chair, CEPA and Partner, Berlin Global Advisors, United States), Olevs Nikers (Director of the Baltic Security Strategy Project, Latvia), Dalia Bankauskaite (Media Program Director, Vilnius Institute of Policy Analysis, Lithuania) and Glen Howard (President of the Jamestown Foundation, United States). The event is moderated by Otto Tabuns (Visiting Lecturer, Riga Graduate School of Law, Latvia).

The Baltic Security Strategy Project is run in cooperation with the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation, the Jamestown Foundation and the Latvian Political Scientists' Association. It is the most extensive independent security studies initiative in the Baltic States, joining more than two hundred participants, including Baltic experts from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and the United States.
